- Pete Schmidt - No Safe Bet
Well I am back :) I should really pay my hosting bills on time. I managed to spend a fortune over xmas and really need to cut back on buying so many clothes and pissing it all away down the pub.
Things haven't really changed much and my head is a bit screwed up over things that happened over xmas too. My friends always joke that my life is 'a little bit Hollyoaks', which I don't intend it to be, but I can't help but sometimes think 'oh fuck this', pull a moody face and wait for The Fray to start playing in the background.
I am trying to sort out my solo album still and I have been writing so many songs that the original track listing has more or less had to be thrown out the window and redone. I wrote two songs within the last two weeks or so that I am really proud of. They don't have names yet but they are really starting to go exactly where I have wanted to for a long time - lyrically, musically and especially the melody.
Anyway I am at work so I suppose I should get on with it. Am going out tonight to meet James along with a load of other friends and some people from work - so it should hopefully be a good night. I haven't told James yet, that as he is staying at mine he needs to wake up at 7am.
He's going to love that isn't he? ;)
