I have been putting a little bit of work into the site lately. Below is what I managed to add during a hectic week at work:
- New Evil Fly Logo
- Last FM Module
- New jQuery Navigation
- RSS Feed (hurrah)
- Photo Gallery
- Twitter Feed
- Loads of behind the scenes tweaks
So yeah, I have been trying to flesh the place out a little more and hopefully I will get round to finishing up the music section I have been working on, which will finally have some solo stuff for people to listen to.
Anyway, I mentioned I had a hectic week. Work has been really, really busy lately and stressful enough for me to be staying quite a few late nights as well as needing to take more fag breaks and even invest in a bottle of Kalms; not that they work mind.
I have also made a life decision that I am going to keep myself single for a bit and just try to forget worrying about relationships or even a girlfriend at the moment. I just can't be in a relationship anymore as much as I have tried.
I guess Valentine's Day was a slight revelation in that I thought I would be sad. I thought I would go out and see all the couples and just crumble. Fuck no! I actually went out and thought fucking hell this is great. I can do what the fuck I want, when I want and don't have to worry about anything - it was brilliant and I truly mean that.
I just had relief in that, I wasn't arguing with anyone. I didn't have to force myself to buy a shitty gift to prove to someone I care. I didn't have to go anywhere I didn't want to and most of all, I lusted at the fact I could get up Sunday and just spend the whole day writing songs.
It's not all bad really and to be honest I'm starting to appreciate how great things are just lately :)
