- Connelly - The Inevitable Truth
Years ago back in the day when I was cool, had the world at my feet and innocence burning my through my heart I was in a band. I loved it and miss those times terribly.
Well after many years of trying to sort things out and sitting on a mountain of music that I want the world to hear I'm trying to do something about it. Life has just been so busy and every time I make a plan for recording I always find myself never ready or have to cancel it because I get paranoid about various things.
Once Deej has finished up his game for the Xbox 360 everything should hopefully get back on track and recording the demos will be back on. Now James our drummer is in London too, it really makes no sense trying to get the whole Undertow thing going so I'm hoping that us three can get together and try and create something new.
I'm hoping it will all be low-key, whatever we create will be free and maybe we can do a few gigs off the back of it.
Anyway, the reason I guess I wrote this blog entry is because I found an old demo for a song that was never released and I never got time to add vocals for. It's called 'Myself' and it was supposed to be the closing track for the 'Innocent Corruption Of Everything' album. I have included it below if anyone wants to have a listen. You can even hear Johnson moving around on the chair and smoking if you listen carefully enough :)
